Meet Your Speakers
LaToya Cole, MSW is a wife and mother of three. Born and raised in California’s Bay Area, she joined the Army after high school graduation and, while serving, she met her husband. After an honorable discharge from the Army, she began her studies as a social worker. In 2010, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2013 from University of Southern California (USC). Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate in psychology (Ph.D.) from Grand Canyon University where her studies are focused on cognition and instruction. She is also studying to complete and pass her exam for social work licensure to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). LaToya spent 3 years, after receiving her Master’s Degree, working with the County Mental Health system where she was the lead Clinician for the TAY (Transitional Age Youth) program; assisting former foster and juvenile justice youth with individual therapy services, assessment, diagnosis, group treatment, and linkage and support to community resources. Currently she works as a Medical Social Worker at a local hospital. LaToya is a God-fearing woman who applies faith to her everyday life. She enjoys spending time with her family and taking vacations. Coming from a single father household, LaToya has overcome many adversities and continues to strive to be the best for herself and her family.

Kim has a noticeable passion for helping others transform themselves. At her day job, she helps everyone from high school kids to veterans who have served our country for years, develop a path to start a career in Information Technology (IT). Her newest venture, SayPFFT.com allows her to coach people who want to embrace a healthy lifestyle and shift to a feeling of having control and experiencing peace.
As the mother of two children, 24 & 6, she has spent most of her adult life as a single, working parent. Much of that time has also been consumed with being a full-time student as well. Through all of the challenges, opportunities, and education, Kim has lived the importance of taking care of yourself and now brings her powerful message to you.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Baker University, a Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix, and is currently a doctoral candidate at University of Phoenix (Doctor of Education).
Myisha T. Hill is an author, speaker, and thriving single MOM-preneur of three different abilities children. Through her work as a life and wellness coach she helps overwhelmed entrepreneurs create synergistic lifestyles. Through her nonprofit project Brown Sisters Speak, Ms. Hill works to help normalize mental health conversations for women of color. Currently Ms. Hill is pursuing the completion of her degree through Holy Names University In Oakland, CA.
